Hi,im experiencing a weird kind of problem.It all started 1week ago when i was playing Left4Dead 2 and during loading, my system got freeze and died.I went to the repairing shop,he told that my graphics card and RAM have problems.After fixing them both,my pc is acting weird.Games are crashing or giving BSOD.Like Resident evil 5 crashes after 2mins of its gameplay,Left 4 Dead 2 has no fixed time for the BSOD.Don’t know why street fighter 4 is working 100% fine.I called my technician again and told him about the situation,he told me to reinstall windows.I did exactly as he told,but windowsXP is not installing at all.its giving bluescreen error on “installing devices” stage,while windows 7 is installing fine.But still games are crashing and giving bluescreen errors except street fighter 4.My specs are

Pro = AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz
MoBo = Elitegroup A780GM-M3
RAM = 2.0GB DDR2
HDD = Seagate 320 and 80 GBs
PSU = CoolerMaster 460watt
GFX = Nvidia 9600GT 512MB/256Bit
OS = Win7 and XP
my cpu temperature remains ~84C,its quite common in my locality so im sure its not causing the problem… a little help would be much appreciated!

Sounds like you have faulty RAM in the PC some where it could be the graphics card or the RAM in the PC. IF the PC has on board graphics I’d remove your card and if it has 2 or more RAM stick remove them so only one then try reinstall XP if that works one of the RAM stick is faulty or the graphics card is, so add them back one at a time till it crashes then you will now what part. My tech team and I can help lots with PC stuff it would be great if you could ask any PC questions you have here so we can discuss it properly http://www.mypcmates.com

    If this just started up a week ago. Im pretty sure your PSU is going bad. If he was getting errors on multiple parts then its a PSU problem. It sounds like on your more intensive games like RE5, your computer is pulling more wattage and with a bad power supply the card didnt have enough power to run, so it BSOD’d. This is my opinion. Id suggest running Prime95 on it and use just the CPU benchmark, and the CPU, Memory benchmark. If it BSOD before any error messages shows up, it could very well be the PSU. If you get errors on either your Memory or CPU, it will show you then BSOD or just freeze.
